The museum has a couple cut-away engines that serve as learning examples. One is a Knight engine, and then this one. It demonstrates the vertical action of the piston which is converted into rotary power. But the valve train never worked because the crankshaft gear has been missing for years. Well, today, Wayne and Amber came in and guess what they brought? A camshaft gear for this engine so now the camshaft can also turn to become a fully functional display. Thank you guys.

Star Destinations promotes and hosts bus tours. This one was a 4-day mystery tour that originated out of Minnesota. These 36 people were not told where they would go or what they'd be doing for their 4 days. This afternoon they were dropped off at the car museum. They were a great fun loving group.

Ford Model T coils can be fussy and finicky things. Especially as most are now over 100 years old. This copper-top coil checks out pretty well in our homemade tester. Noisy things.
