This is the “Mason Two In One Car.” It came with two body styles. “Go to church in your car on Sunday and then go to work in your truck Monday morning.”

They were manufactured in Des Moines, Iowa. In 1910, the Maytag home appliance company bought Mason and moved the operation to Waterloo, Iowa. Maytag didn’t do well in the automobile business and the company was returned to Mason a couple years later.

This one is a 1909 model. The Lichtfeld family retains ownership, but were passionate about finding a good home for the vehicle.
